Android 13 Update: Release Date and Supported Phones

After Android 12 OS google is preparing to launch its next-generation mobile operating system Android 13. The new Android 13 OS will likely bring major security and privacy improvements when compared to Android 12. In this article, we will talk about everything we know so far about the upcoming Android 13 OS.

What is Android 13 OS?

Android 13 will arrive as the successor to Android 12. It is the thirteen major version of the Android operating system. Android 13 will reportedly carry the codename Tiramisu. The new OS will bring a secondary profile for PFC Payments so that you can save payments information easily. Other Android 13 leaked features include DNS over HTTPS support, Bluetooth LE Audio full support, Runtime Permission for Notifications, App Languages Support, Lock Screen Clock Layouts, and TARE: The Android Resource Economy. Google will likely add a toggle on/off button for the Phantom Process Killer (Background process killer feature).

Android 13 Release Date

The next-generation Android 13 OS could be announced in May 2022. However, this will be a beta build intended for developers only. The final version (stable build) may release in September 2022. It should be noted that Android 13 will likely make its first appearance through the Developer Preview Chanel from February 2022.

Initially, Google’s Pixel smartphones will get the latest Android 13 Update, possibly from September 2022. Following that other OEMs will start rolling out their Custom ROM based Android 13 build.
