It’s no secret that a dark mode reduces eye strain, reduces exposure to blue, which is considered harmful, and dark increases battery life. If you’ve used the dark theme in Windows 10 and upgraded to Windows 11, you might not be familiar with the new OS settings to find where dark mode is activated.
In Windows 11, the Light mode option is enabled by default. If you want to use your PC in a dark environment, you need to enable the dark mode. Follow these simple steps to get it done:
Make a dark theme in Windows 11
- Go to Settings Page > Personalization.
- Now head over to the Colors section.
- Under “Color Selection”, choose a dark theme.
- That’s it; you have enabled dark mode.
