Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 870 5G processor as the upgraded version of the Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC. It comes with a clock speed of up to 3.2GHz. The latest chip includes the Snapdragon Elite Gaming technology for a better gaming experience. It has a Qualcomm AI engine supporting on-device artificial intelligence (AI) experiences. Smartphone makers including iQOO, Oppo, Motorola, OnePlus, and Xiaomi will soon bring their models based on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset.

Motorola Edge S goes official in China with a price tag of CNY 1999 ( Rs 22,548 approx) for 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage variant. It boasts a 6.7-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2520×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. We get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. We get a 5,000mAh battery with support for a 20W fast charge. We get a square-shaped camera island that packs four camera sensors with a 64MP primary sensor.

Black Shark announced the Black Shark 4 series of smartphones in March 2021. The series includes a Snapdragon 870 powered Black Shak 4 device also. Other features include a 6.67-inch Full HD+ 20:9 144Hz display, Android 11 OS, 120W fast charger, and 4500mAh battery.

Oppo Find X3

OPPO launched its latest OPPO Find X3 lineup, including OPPO Find X3, Find X3 Pro, Find X3 Neo, and Find X3 Lite. The Pro variant features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, while the standard model arrives with Snapdragon 870 SoC.

Motorola Moto G100 has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmark platform with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, 8GB of RAM, and Android 11 OS. It is the global version of the Motorola Edge S smartphone.

A new iQOO device called iQOO Neo5 was launched with Snapdragon 870 SoC. We get a 6.62-inch (2400×1080 pixels) Full HD+ AMOLED screen with HDR10+, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,300 nits brightness. It has three colour variants: Black, Cloud Blue and Pixel Orange.

Xiaomi announced the Mi 10S as the company’s latest device in the Mi 10 series in China. It is the 2021’s Mi 10 model that packs SD870, 30W rapid charging, 4780mAh (Typical) battery, 5G connectivity, and Android 11 OS.

OnePlus 9R

OnePlus 9R arrived alongside OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. A Snapdragon 870 SoC powers it. It comes in Carbon Black and Lake Blue colours. We get a 4500mAh battery with Warp Charge 65W (10V/6.5A).

Poco F3 is now official. It is an international version of the K40, which was announced in China. We see a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED screen and a 48MP primary camera alongside 8MP and 5MP units. The phone runs MIUI 12 on top of Android 11. It is backed by a 4520 mAh battery with 33 charging support. We get a 20MP selfie camera with a 0.8μm pixel size and f/2.4 aperture.

Vivo X60 series announced globally that includes X60 and X60 Pro. Both phones pack SD870. They feature the 48MP primary sensor with a bright f/1.5 aperture on the back and 32MP selfie snapper on the front.
