Nokia launched the Nokia 6.1 and 6.1 Plus smartphone in 2018. Both devices are currently running on the Android 10 operating system. Now the owners of both devices are waiting for the Android 13 as their next major OS upgrade. They are worried about whether their Nokia 6.1 and 6.1 Plus device will get Android 13 or not. Let’s discuss.
Nokia 6.1 and 6.1 Plus Android 13 Status
Both Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 6.1 Plus will not receive the Android 13 update as it has already got two major OS upgrades. Both phones arrived with Android Oreo and till now it has already received Android 9 and 10. Nokia Mobile promised to provide two major OS updates and three years of monthly security patches for all their Android One devices. As per Nokia’s promise, two major OS updates are done.
However, if the developer team such as LineageOS build an Android 13 custom ROM for Nokia 6.1 lineup then you will be able to experience Android 13 unofficially.
