After announcing 4 new smartphones at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, HMD Global looks set to introduce another mid-range smartphone which has been teased for an April 27, 2018 announcement. The teasers were first reported by IT Home, where the report added that these teasers were present in a movie theatre with the tagline ‘Share More Joy’. As per its teaser, the upcoming model seems to be Nokia X.
Ahead of its official launch, Today we have spotted two unknown Nokia phones with model numbers TA-1099 and TA-1109 in the database of 3C certification site. Both the devices are received 3C certification on April 16/ 17, 2018. Both the phones are equipped with a charger that supports 10w charging output (the device doesn’t support fast charging because of the 5V/2A output), so it may be the debut of Nokia X series. The 3C certification doesn’t reveal any other details on the part of its specifications. Anyways, we will have to wait for the 27th April to know its full specifications.
The passed certification hints that Nokia X Series will be first launched in China and India may be one of the top countries HMD Global will be focusing on.
