Oppo’s upcoming flagship “Oppo Reno” is all set to unveil on April 10 in China. However, ahead of the launch, details about the smartphone have been gradually released by OPPO’s VP. Recently, the Oppo Reno has passed certification from Taiwan’s National Communications Commission (NCC) with model number CPH1917 confirming the phone specification.
The NCC listing reveals that the device will support Taiwan’s 4G full-band, NFC and USB Type-C port. The documents also confirm that the Oppo Reno to have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage.
Bluetooth SIG has also certified the Oppo Reno with the model number CPH1917, CPH1919 and CPH1921. As per the listing, the CPH1919 and CPH1921 will have Snapdragon 855 while CPH1917 will be powered by Snapdragon 710. The certification also reveals that the model CPH1921 carries support for 5G connectivity whereas the CPH1919 will be a standard model.
The latest leaks suggest the company may also launch OPPO Reno 5G & Lamborghini Edition. The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 710/855 chipset and will have several memory configurations. The 5G variant will be available in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage options. The Lamborghini edition may arrive with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage and a 5000mAh battery.
As per the latest information from the company’s executive, the phone will have a screen-to-body ratio of 93.1%. Other features include triple rear cameras with the 10x hybrid zoom lens and a 48MP primary camera.
According to Oppo’s VP Shen Yiren, the smartphone will have bezels almost as thin as those on the Find X device. The top, side and bottom bezel will be 1.8mm, 1.63mm and 3.5mm respectively.
