Windows 11 has a feature to show an accent colour for window titles and borders. It may seem like an excellent function to some because on a dark background, making a bright window border can help in multiple windows. To others, it may seem like a redundant feature.
Turn the window border colour off in Windows 11
To remove a coloured border to a window in Windows 11:
- Go to Options > Personalization > Colors on the right .
- Find the “Show accent colour on title bars and windows borders” item.
- Now turn the slider off.
