Samsung One UI 4.1 Release Date and Supported Phones

In October 2021, Samsung launched the fourth generation of its custom skin, One UI 4.0, which is based on Google’s Android 12 operating system. Now Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 4 update to all eligible devices in phases. This year Samsung has launched One UI 4.1 as a minor upgraded version over the UI 4.0 with quite a few new features and changes.

What is One UI 4.1?

One UI 4.1 is a minor update for One UI 4.0. It is based on the Android 12 operating system. With the One UI 4.1 update, Samsung offers minor improvements and a number of new features further to enhance the user experience over One UI 4.0. One UI 4.1 brings improvement to the camera app that includes the Pro mode’s ability for every lens on the camera. It also improves productivity with features like a smart calendar, multi-platform connectivity, and multi-window.

One UI 4.1 Release Date

The One UI 4.1 update was released on February 9, 2022, alongside Samsung Galaxy S22 series. The latest skin is available for the Galaxy S22 lineup only. Other eligible Galaxy devices are on the waiting list. Samsung has not shared any ETA yet. We expect for other eligible Galaxy smartphones; the rollout may begin in March 2022.

May 02: The One UI 4.1 update is rolling out for Galaxy A52 5G in Canada.

April 30: Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 5G and Tab S7+ 5G devices are getting One UI 4.1 update in the US.

March 28: Samsung has released the One UI 4.1 update for the unlocked Galaxy Note 20 lineup in the US.

March 26: Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update is rolling out to Galaxy Fold 3 and Galaxy M52 users in India.

March 24: Verizon’s Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Ultra, S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, Z Fold 2, and Z Fold 3 are getting the One UI 4.1 update.

March 23: In the US, Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S20 and S21 lineup are getting One UI 4.1 update. In Europe, Samsung has started seeding One UI 4.1 update to Galaxy Note 10 series and Galaxy S10 series. The Galaxy A52 5G device is also being updated to One UI 4.1 skin. Additionally, the latest build has also reached the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Flip 5G in Europe.

March 19: One UI 4.1 update has started rolling out for the Galaxy S21 lineup in Sweden, Norway, and Iran. In the US, T-Mobile has also released One UI 4.1 update to the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra phones. The update will live in more countries soon.

March 18: The One UI 4.1 update for the Note 20 series is available in Switzerland.

March 15: Samsung is rolling out One UI 4.1 for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. The latest build will also be available for other Galaxy devices in the coming days.

  • Galaxy S21 5G, S21+ 5G, S21 Ultra 5G, and S21 FE 5G.

February 21: As per Verizon support employee via Piunikaweb, One UI 4.1 rollout may begin between the end of February and the beginning of March. The report further reveals that UI 4.1 update will likely release for the Galaxy S21 series at the end of February 2022. However, it looks only the Galaxy S21 Ultra will get updated as of now. The vanilla S21 and S21+ may receive the update in March 2022.

February 11: With One UI 4.1, Samsung has bundled the RAM Plus feature. It lets you choose how much RAM (2GB, 6GB, and even 8GB) you want from the onboard storage.

February 10: Samsung has finally unveiled the One UI 4.1 skin alongside the Galaxy S22 lineup. The company has revealed One UI 4.1 features via a video on youtube.

February 6: As per Twitter user Rydah, Samsung’s One UI 4.1 will pack new emojis. It will further improve the Material You type of theme.

January 31: Samsung has started developing One UI 4.1 with PDA version G998U1UEU5CV4 for the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The build will bring improved animations and overall software performance.

December 30: According to a report by ITMaterial.co.kr, Samsung will bring new features with One UI 4.1 such as Advanced Color Palette, Vibration pattern synchronization function, Focus Mode on Multistar, Smart Recommendation, and Director’s View.

December 20: Samsung has started working to bring One UI 4.1 to several Galaxy devices. Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20, and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones could receive the One UI 4.1 update in February 2022.
