Google announced its next-generation Android 12 OS at the Google I/O 2021 event. Smartphone manufacturers are now planning to roll out the Android 12 update along with their custom ROM on top of it. South Korean tech giant Samsung will launch next-generation One UI 4 for their smartphones.
Samsung One UI 4 (Android 12)
The One UI 4 update for Samsung smartphones will be based on Android 12. It is Samsung’s ninth OneUI version upgrade and will arrive as the One UI 3. The beta version is being tested internally. Some of the features of the new One UI beta build have also leaked online. The leak ‘Network & Internet’ section has been included in the latest build and replaces the Wi-Fi, Mobile Data, Hotspot and Flight Mode icons in the Quick Panel. The mobile Networks section is also revamped. It merges ‘Data Usage’ and ‘SIM Card Manager’.
One UI 4 Release date
Samsung’s upcoming One UI 4 could be unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked in August 2021.
