How to Show Clock on Second Monitor on Windows 11

On Windows 11 OS, there is no clock on the second monitor. However, the clock appears on the second monitor in the Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22509. Now when a secondary monitor is connected, your clock and date will be displayed on the taskbars of the secondary monitor or monitors for glanceability. But it will take time to push it out to everyone. Do not worry; a third party application called ElevenClock allows you to show the clock on all the monitors on Windows 11 PC.

Steps to Show Clock on Second Monitor on Windows 11

  • Go to the ElevenClock Github page and then download the app.
  • Now Run the installer to install the ElevenClock app
  • That’s it; a clock will appear on your second display.
  • Now to access the settings, right-click the ElevenClock clock in the Taskbar.

You can also customize the clock such as font, colour etc. You can even add it to the primary monitor. Open the app’s settings> Clock Settings> Enable the ‘Show the clock on the primary screen’ option.

If you want to customize the appearance of the clock, launch ElevenClock’s settings and then go to the Clock Appearance section. There you can enable the “Use a custom font” option, “Use a custom font size” choice, “Use a custom font colour” option and “Use a custom background colour” option.

Suppose you want to hide the default Windows 11 clock from the primary monitor. Go to the Settings app using the Win+I shortcut. Now head over to the path Personlization> Taskbar settings. Choose the customize system icons options. Turn the Clock switch off.
