Soon, Microsoft will begin rolling out the new Windows 11. Some users may find the new Start Menu in Windows 11 uncomfortable and would like to bring back the old Start Menu like in Windows 10. This tutorial is about how to get the classic start menu back from windows 10 in the new Windows 11.
Switch Back to the Old Windows 10 Start Menu on Windows 11
In build 22000.71 Windows 11, Microsoft removed the option to return the classic start menu from Windows 10. Maybe that will change for release, and we will definitely update the article.
Step 1: Press Win + R and type Regedit to open Registry Editor. In the registry, go along the path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Advanced
On the right, click on an empty field with the right mouse button.
New> 32-bit DWORD Value
Set the name to Start_ShowClassicMode.
Click on the created parameter twice.
Install 1 to return the Start Menu to Windows 10.
Step 2: Now right-click on the taskbar itself and select Taskbar Options. On the right, find and expand the Taskbar Behaviors column, and then specify the Left alignment. After the steps are taken, restart your computer and the start menu will look like in Windows 10.
